
Critical Security Vulnerabilities Discovered in Cisco Products and VSCode Marketplace; Microsoft Announces Windows Update

A critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability has been discovered in Cisco products, affecting several models of routers and switches. This flaw, identified as CVE-2025-1234, allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely. Additionally, a vulnerability in the VSCode Marketplace has enabled attackers to take control of certain popular extensions, endangering users of the code editor. Finally, Microsoft has announced an update for Windows aimed at eliminating blue screens of death (BSOD) caused by critical system errors. This update will be deployed in the next version of Windows 11.
