Esse Health Reports Cybersecurity Incident Affecting Over 260,000 Individuals

Esse Health has notified the Maine Attorney General's office that 263,601 individuals were affected by a cybersecurity incident initially disclosed in May 2025. Esse Health, which operates 45 locations in and around the St. Louis metropolitan area, detected unusual activity on its system in April 2025. According to notices and the update from June 20, 2025, the incident had a significant impact on patient health data.
