How I Hacked Hackers at LeHack Event 2025

The author describes a proof of concept (PoC) demonstration conducted at the LeHack 2025 event. Using 8x ESP32-C3 with custom karma firmware and 2x M5Stack CardPuters as control interfaces, the author successfully attracted 100 unique connections in parallel throughout the weekend. The main objective was to raise awareness among participants about the ease of hacking trusted Wi-Fi networks using a preloaded list of SSIDs from Wigle data and a captive portal triggered upon connection.
