Researchers Uncover Malware Campaign Targeting Firefox Users with Crypto-Stealing Extensions

Researchers have discovered a malware campaign that successfully introduced more than 40 malicious extensions into the official Mozilla Firefox store. These extensions aim to steal recovery phrases and private keys from users' cryptocurrency wallets. They masquerade as legitimate tools from services like Coinbase, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom, and Exodus. The goal is to empty users' cryptocurrency wallets by gaining unauthorized access to their sensitive information.
