The BSI (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik) and its French counterpart, the ANSSI (Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information), have described video identification for obtaining the EUDI (European Digital Identity) wallet as "defiant." Both agencies warn against using this method to verify the identity of users when applying for this digital wallet.
