New research from ERNW reveals critical vulnerabilities in popular Bluetooth audio devices used in at least 29 models from brands such as Bose, Sony, JBL, and Jabra. These flaws potentially allow attackers to access phone calls, contact lists, or even remotely control smartphones. The vulnerabilities affect Bluetooth chipsets from Airoha used in many wireless headphones, earbuds, and speakers. Although no active attacks have been reported, manufacturers were alerted in May and some have already begun deploying firmware updates.
