Taiwan has issued a warning about the security risks posed by popular Chinese applications such as TikTok, WeChat, Weibo, and Baidu Cloud. The National Security Bureau (NSB) of Taiwan has reported that these applications excessively collect data and transfer it to China, following an official inspection.
