The BSI (Federal Office for Information Security) is offering assistance for the implementation of the NIS2 directive, which is expected to come into force in 2026. This directive will impose mandatory requirements on approximately 29,000 companies and institutions to protect their IT systems. Companies that do not adequately protect their IT systems will be at risk.
