Vulnerabilities in the McHire chatbot used by McDonald's have exposed the data of 64 million job applicants due to unsecured internal APIs. Security researchers Ian Carroll and Sam Curry discovered several vulnerabilities in McDonald's McHire recruitment platform, which exposed the personal information of more than 64 million applicants. The recruitment bot, developed by a third-party company, had flaws that allowed unauthorized access to sensitive candidate data.
