Description
In June 2024, the Los Angeles Unified School District experienced a significant data breach impacting sensitive information of students, parents, and staff members. The breach resulted in unauthorized access and exposure of over 24 million records, including more than 2 million unique email addresses. Compromised data encompassed personal details such as names, birth dates, addresses, and contact numbers, along with sensitive information like Social Security Numbers, education levels, ethnicities, family details, income levels, government issued IDs, and employment data.
