Description
In July 2018, the health and fitness service 8fit experienced a data breach that exposed over 15 million records. The compromised data included email addresses, bcrypt hashed passwords, names, genders, IP addresses, and geographic locations. The breach data later surfaced on a dark web marketplace in early 2019, highlighting the severity of the incident.
