Description
In April 2020, a data breach occurred at Aptoide, an independent Android app store. The incident led to the compromise of approximately 20 million customer records. Sensitive information such as email addresses, hashed passwords (SHA-1 without salt), full names, IP addresses, and full birthdates was exposed. The breached data was later made available online through a hacking forum.
