Description
In December 2018, Fotolog, a photo-sharing social network, was compromised, resulting in a significant data breach. The incident exposed sensitive data including full birth dates, usernames, email addresses, and unsalted SHA-256 password hashes. Consequently, millions of user records were impacted. Following the breach, Fotolog ceased operations as a social network and transitioned into a news website.
