Description
In April 2019, Lumin PDF, a PDF management service, experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive user data. This breach was not publicly disclosed until September 2019 when 15.5 million user records were found available for download on a hacking forum. The breach originated from a publicly exposed MongoDB instance. Exfiltrated information included auth tokens, email addresses, full names, hashed passwords, spoken languages, usernames, and other personal details.
