Description
In February 2018, MyFitnessPal experienced a significant data breach that led to the exposure of 150 million records. The compromised data included email addresses, usernames, IP addresses, and passwords, which were stored as SHA-1 and bcrypt hashes. This breach impacted a large number of users and was later found listed for sale on a dark web marketplace.
