Description
In October 2017, the genealogy website MyHeritage experienced a significant data breach. The incident resulted in the exposure of over 92 million records, including email addresses and salted SHA-1 password hashes. This breach was discovered seven months after its occurrence when a security researcher reported the exposed data to MyHeritage.
