Description
In November 2012, Netlog, a Belgian social networking site, experienced a data breach that resulted in the exposure of email addresses and plaintext passwords of approximately 49 million subscribers. Although the service was discontinued in 2015, the breach remained significant due to the large number of compromised accounts.
