Description
In May 2024, Ticketek, an Australian event ticketing company, experienced a data breach connected to a third-party cloud platform. As a result, data from almost 30 million rows, including approximately 17.6 million unique email addresses, names, gender information, dates of birth, and hashed passwords, were compromised. The data subsequently appeared for sale on a hacking forum and was associated with multiple breaches of the Snowflake cloud storage service.

- 2.Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) wherever possible
- 3.Check if your email appears in the breach using Have I Been Pwned
- 4.Monitor your accounts for suspicious activity
- 5.Consider using a password manager to generate unique passwords
