Description
In January 2024, Trello experienced a data incident where over 15 million records were exposed. The data, which included email addresses, usernames, full names, and URLs, was obtained by exploiting a publicly accessible resource. Although Trello maintained that no unauthorized access occurred, the records were scraped and subsequently posted for sale on a hacking forum. The incident highlighted the critical exposure risk associated with publicly accessible resources.
