Description
In May 2017, Zomato experienced a data breach that resulted in the unauthorized access to their database. Approximately 17 million user accounts were affected, with exposed data including email addresses, usernames, and salted MD5 password hashes. Not all accounts contained password hashes, but the compromised information was redistributed online following the incident.
