Description
In January 2016, Lifeboat, a Minecraft community, experienced a significant data breach. Over 11 million records were exfiltrated containing usernames, email addresses, IP addresses, and passwords stored as straight MD5 hashes. The breach was known internally for three months before it was disclosed to the public, raising concerns about the potential misuse of the compromised data.
