Description
In November 2016, CashCrate, a cash-for-surveys platform, was compromised, leading to the exposure of 6.8 million user records. The breach revealed sensitive data, including names, email addresses, physical addresses, and passwords. Older passwords were stored in plain text, while newer ones utilized weak MD5 hashes.
