Description
In December 2021, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL) experienced a data breach where threat actors gained unauthorized access to the company's database. The breach resulted in the exposure of significant personal information from 5.4 million customers, including names, emails, phone numbers, physical addresses, dates of birth, purchase history, and passwords stored as MD5 hashes. Additionally, employee records containing sensitive information such as salary details, marital status, and religious affiliations were also compromised in this incident.
