Description
In May 2023, the Russian website of the hypermarket chain Leroy Merlin experienced a data breach, revealing approximately 5 million customer records. The compromised data included sensitive information such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and passwords stored in salted MD5 hash format. In addition, other personal details like genders, dates of birth, and physical addresses were also exposed, posing significant privacy risks to affected individuals.
