Description
In June 2020, Swvl, the Egyptian bus operator, experienced a data breach affecting over 4 million users. The compromised data included email addresses, full names, usernames, phone numbers, bcrypt hashed passwords, country of address, URLs, and social media information. Additionally, partial credit card details, such as type and last four digits, along with profile photos, were exposed and disseminated across online hacking forums.
