In October 2020, Wongnai, a Thai service for discovering restaurants, hotels, and attractions, experienced a data breach. The incident exposed nearly 4 million unique customer records, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, birthdates, social media links, geographic locations, IP addresses, and passwords stored as MD5 hashes.
