Description
In January 2020, Elanic, an Indian fashion marketplace, suffered a data breach resulting in the public exposure of 2.8 million user records, of which 2.3 million were unique email addresses. The compromised data, originating from a test server, included email addresses, geographic locations, usernames, and additional social media information. Elanic confirmed the data's authenticity but chose not to notify the affected users, as the data was considered old.
