Description
In December 2020, MMG Fusion, a dental practice management service, experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive information including email addresses, patient appointments, names, phone numbers, dates of birth, genders, physical addresses, and marital statuses. A small number of records also included passwords stored as bcrypt hashes. The incident affected 2.6 million unique email addresses, highlighting vulnerabilities in their data management systems.
