Description
In April 2023, a data breach involving the Indian rental service RentoMojo was discovered. This breach compromised over 9.3 million records, exposing names, email addresses, phone numbers, government-issued IDs such as passport and Aadhaar numbers, genders, dates of birth, and bcrypt password hashes. This incident resulted in unauthorized access to personally identifiable information stored in RentoMojo's database.
