National Defense Corporation Hit by Ransomware Attack, Refuses to Pay Ransom

The National Defense Corporation (NDC) has fallen victim to a ransomware attack. The company, which includes AMTEC, a manufacturer of lethal and non-lethal ammunition, explosives, and cartridges for military and police use, disclosed the breach but refused to pay the ransom. AMTEC is the world's largest producer of 40mm grenade ammunition and rockets. The company's capabilities include precision assembly, explosive loading, assembly and packaging, metal forming and plating, as well as primary operations.
