The cryptocurrency exchange platform Bybit has fallen victim to a sophisticated attack, resulting in the theft of $1.5 billion in cryptocurrencies. Malicious actors transferred over 400,000 ETH and stETH to an unidentified address. This attack is considered the largest cryptocurrency heist ever recorded. The funds were stolen from an offline wallet of the company.
