Bank of America recruited 1,000 additional contractors to patch vulnerabilities discovered by Anthropic's Mythos model. CEO Brian Moynihan stated during the Q3 earnings call that the company spent over $200 million in remediation costs related to Mythos and anti-money laundering (AML) orders issued this week. These costs are expected to decline over time as the contractors help address the initial burden of patching the large number of flaws.
