MITRE Avoids Shutdown of CVE Program with Last-Minute Contract Extension

MITRE has avoided the shutdown of its CVE program thanks to a last-minute contract extension. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) supported this temporary extension, allowing the program to remain online.
