Sophisticated Backdoor Discovered in ViPNet Client Updates for Cyberespionage

Experts from "Kaspersky Lab" and "T-Technologies" have discovered a new sophisticated backdoor used by an unidentified APT group to spy on dozens of Russian organizations. This backdoor was disguised as a ViPNet Client update. The attack enabled extensive cyberespionage within the networks of the targeted organizations.
