A new data leak from Facebook has exposed 1.2 billion user records, according to a post on a popular data leak forum. The attackers claim that this is a new dataset, not a compilation of old records. The Cybernews research team investigated a sample of 100,000 unique Facebook user records and found the data to be legitimate. The dataset includes User IDs, names, email addresses, usernames, phone numbers, locations, birthdays, and genders.
