Rajesh Gottumukkala, former Chief Information Officer (CIO) of South Dakota, has been appointed Deputy Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This number two position is crucial for the agency, while the top director role remains vacant following the departure of Jen Easterly. Bridget Bean is currently serving as the acting director.
