Apple CEO Reportedly Urged Texas Governor to Ditch Online Child Safety Bill

Apple CEO Tim Cook has reportedly contacted Texas Governor Greg Abbott to request that he modify or reject a recently passed state law. This law would require Apple to verify the age of the owners of its devices. According to The Wall Street Journal, Abbott has not yet signed the law. Apple, along with Google, is actively working to influence this legislation.
