New PumaBot Botnet Targets Linux-Based IoT Devices

A new botnet named PumaBot is targeting IoT devices based on embedded Linux. Written in Go, this botnet performs brute-force attacks against SSH instances to spread and deliver additional malicious software to infected hosts. Unlike other malware that scans the internet, PumaBot retrieves a list of targets from a command and control (C2) server.
