Cybercriminals are using fake installers for popular artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as OpenAI ChatGPT and InVideo AI to spread various threats, including the ransomware families CyberLock and Lucky_Gh0$t, as well as a new malware called Numero. CyberLock, developed in PowerShell, primarily focuses on encrypting specific files on the victim's system. These findings come from Chetan, a researcher at Cisco Talos.
