The Godfather Android Trojan is using virtualization to hijack banking and cryptocurrency applications, stealing users' funds, warns mobile security company Zimperium. Zimperium zLabs has discovered a major evolution of the Godfather Android Trojan, which uses virtualization on the device to hijack real banking and cryptocurrency applications. Instead of using fake overlays, the malware creates a sandbox on the victim's device.
